The HigherStanding Multivariable Calculus Exam allows high school students to demonstrate their mastery of advanced Calculus to college admissions committees. Students who take BC Calculus in their Junior year can take Multivariable Calculus in their first semester Senior year, followed by the HigherStanding exam at the end of the semester in December.

The exam has the form of a college exam. Phd students perform the grading. Colleges of each student's choice receive grades in January.

The exam covers chapters 7-14 in Stewart's Calculus Early Transcendentals 6th Edition.

A school registers to offer the exam, then students register to take it at the school. For school year 2010-2011, the fees are:

Per School: $200, $150 before August 1, 2010
Per Student: $200, $150 before August 1, 2010
